Adam Marcotte is a Partner in the Sacramento, California office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. Mr. Marcotte is a northern California native and stayed close to his roots when obtaining dual undergraduate degrees, in both Economics and Rhetoric, while attending the University of California at Berkeley. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Marcotte sought new horizons and headed east, to Boston University School of Law, where he graduated in the top third of his class. After graduation, Mr. Marcotte unabashedly returned to California, rather than face another east-coast winter.
Previous to joining Resnick & Louis, Mr. Marcotte gained extensive experience litigating insurance defense matters including medical malpractice, both as retained counsel in the law firm setting, and also as in-house counsel for the insurance company, defending claims brought against the insurer and its insureds. Mr. Marcotte also spent time defending cases in the public sector, where he gained invaluable experience litigating matters in the Federal courts. Mr. Marcotte is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and also in the United States District Court, for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Marcotte styles himself a problem solver above all else, so when he’s not searching for new and inventive ways to resolve issues for his clients, you will likely find him engrossed in a DIY project for himself, family or friends; trying to keep up with his God-children, who put the Energizer Bunny to shame; or spending time with his rescue dogs.
