Alexander Cabrera is an Associate Attorney in the Miami office and focuses his practice on insurance defense, bodily injury litigation, vehicle damage claims, and complex coverage matters. Alexander has extensive experience representing major insurance carriers and their insureds in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
Alexander’s practice includes the analysis and litigation of complex bodily injury and property damage claims. He has conducted over 100 depositions involving medical providers, plaintiffs, insureds, and fact witnesses, and he regularly evaluates medical records such as MRI reports, surgical records, physical therapy documentation, and IME reports to determine exposure, damages, and case value. He has also served as second-chair at trial, contributing to favorable outcomes for his clients.
Alexander also has significant experience handling third-party property damage matters and subrogation claims. He has completed more than 150 mediations throughout his career, achieving favorable settlements for clients in both vehicle damage and bodily injury disputes. His background includes drafting pleadings, discovery responses, dispositive motions, case evaluation reports, and trial reports for adjusters and litigation teams. Alexander has represented insureds in numerous hearings, including summary judgment motions, sanctions hearings, pretrial conferences, and default proceedings.
Prior to his current role, Alexander worked with several prominent insurance carriers and law firms, where he defended hundreds of insureds and advised claims departments on litigation strategy, risk exposure, and settlement evaluation. His experience spans simple to highly complex cases involving multi-vehicle collisions, disputed liability claims, and extensive property damage litigation.
