Ali Syed is a Partner in the Dallas office of Resnick & Louis, P.C.. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and insurance defense matters throughout Texas in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Syed manages a substantial docket involving personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, construction defect, products liability, mass tort, oilfield, residential and commercial property, and defamation claims. He has extensive experience working closely with in-house counsel and claims professionals for national insurance carriers and multinational self-insured entities, guiding cases from pre-suit investigation through trial and resolution.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Syed has handled all phases of litigation, including motion practice, depositions of fact and expert witnesses, mediation, arbitration, settlement negotiations, and trial. He also previously managed his own firm, representing clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, immigration, and civil matters, giving him a broad litigation foundation and strategic perspective.
Mr. Syed earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed to practice law in Texas.
