Alicia Bolyard is a Partner at the Charleston and Columbia offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C., where she concentrates her practice in general civil litigation. Her areas of focus include insurance defense, first party property and liability insurance coverage, bad faith defense, Special Investigation Unit (SIU)/Examinations Under Oath (EUO), construction law, healthcare litigation, personal injury defense, automobile liability, and trucking liability, and commercial litigation. A portion of her practice is devoted to advising insurance companies related to a variety of insurance coverage matters as well as first-party property defense and SIU cases. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Alicia practiced extensively in complex civil litigation, with experience in medical malpractice, products liability, tort actions, and employment law.
While attending law at Capital University Law school, Alicia received the CALI Award for Excellence in Evidence, Pro Bono Honors Recognition Award, and the Students Giving Back to Students Scholarship just one of the ways she chose to give back to her community.
Alicia was born and raised in West Virginia where she practiced law until she moved to South Carolina in 2019 to enjoy all that the Lowcountry has to offer. Alicia spends her free time with her daughter soaking up the sunshine on the beach.
