Arto Nuutinen is a Partner based in the Irvine office of Resnick & Louis. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1985 with a bachelor of science degree in Biological Sciences. Mr. Nuutinen received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1989, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1990.
Mr. Nuutinen began his career representing public agencies, primarily school districts and county and California water districts in land use, contract and facilities matters. He has also represented insurance companies, Fortune 500 corporations, employers and private clients in a broad range of civil matters. Mr. Nuutinen has also been an adjunct instructor at the University of California, Riverside Extension program and has spoken on such topics as the Government Tort Claims Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, the Ralph M. Brown Act and the Political Reform Act.
Mr. Nuutinen represents clients in general civil matters and has many years of experience in litigation, administrative proceedings and appeals. He is licensed to practice before all of the courts of the State of California, the United States District Court, Central and Southern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
