Caitlin (“Caity”) Plocica is an Associate at the Charleston Office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses her areas of practice on construction defect litigation, insurance defense, general civil litigation, transportation defense, and premises liability. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Caity focused her practice on Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation claims, workers’ compensation and subrogation claims in South Carolina and Georgia. Caity initially began her legal career representing clients in family law matters in the Charleston area.
Caity attended the University of Alabama and participated in environmentally friendly transportation initiatives for the campus bus system. After earning her degree in Political Science, she attended the Charleston School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2020. While attending law school, Caity worked as a research assistant for case research relating to civil procedure and pharmaceutical products liability. She also earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Workers’ Compensation.
In her free time, Caity enjoys offshore fishing, attending concerts for her favorite artists, and playing with her dog, Ophelia. Caity is licensed to practice law in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.
