Chris Manning is an Associate Attorney in the Charleston office of Resnick & Louis, P.C., and has extensive general liability litigation experience in insurance defense, bodily injury defense, premises liability, business litigation, trucking, and dram shop liability. His practice involves construction litigation, coverage opinions, and garden-variety general liability claims.
Chris clerked for the Honorable Benjamin Culbertson after law school in the Fifteenth Circuit Court of South Carolina. Chris has years of experience working in a high-volume practice in insurance defense. More recently, Chris worked for a national law firm in general liability matters before joining Resnick & Louis, P.C..
Prior to graduating law school, Chris had experience working as a legal intern for various federal agencies including the Securities & Exchange Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and U.S. Office of Special Counsel. He also served as a member of Antonin Scalia Law School’s Journal of Law & Economics.
Chris enjoys spending time outside around the Lowcountry with his wife and two Labrador Retrievers. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite Philadelphia professional sports teams, along with his newly adopted Gamecocks.
Chris is licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
