Christopher T. Smith is a Senior Associate in our Reno and Las Vegas offices. Christopher’s practice is focused on representing insureds in Insurance Defense, Premises Liability, Personal Injury, Construction Defect and Transportation. For more than 25 years, Christopher has practiced law founded upon the principles of quality and efficiency, while attentively responding to the needs of the individual client and he is committed to protecting the rights of insurers and their insureds. He is uncompromising on issues of integrity, honesty and confidentiality.
Christopher is admitted to practice in the state courts of Nevada and Illinois, The United States District Court for the District of Nevada, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has represented clients in both private and court-annexed arbitrations and mediations.
In addition to representing insurance companies and their insureds, Christopher has represented clients in Matrimonial and Family Law, Probate, Collections, Business Litigation, Bankruptcy and Employment Discrimination. Prior to becoming an attorney, Christopher was a Business Development Coordinator in the Global Marketing Group at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles. Prior to entering law school, Christopher was also a supervisor in the Records Management Department at Sony Pictures Studios.
Outside of his legal practice, Christopher enjoys boating, skiing, architecture, international travel and spending time with his family.
