Chunwei (Vicky) Mao is a Senior Associate in the New Jersey and New York offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C., where she focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and insurance defense matters. Her experience includes defending insurers and corporate clients in high-exposure cases involving construction accidents, professional liability, premises liability, and general liability, with particular emphasis on New York Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6).
Vicky has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and court appearances. She is highly skilled in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, conducting depositions of key witnesses and corporate representatives, and preparing comprehensive carrier reports analyzing liability, coverage issues, damages exposure, and settlement strategy. Her background as a Senior Court Attorney in the New York Civil Court provides her with valuable judicial insight and a strategic advantage in motion practice and case evaluation.
Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Vicky practiced at several prominent firms where she represented insurers, corporate entities, and individual clients in complex litigation across New York courts.
Vicky earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was a Harlan Scholar. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Anhui University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
