James Gilyard is a Partner in the Sacramento office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and has extensive litigation experience in insurance defense, including bodily injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, construction, and public entity. James’experience includes the analysis and litigation of complex insurance defense issues, including FEHA disability discrimination, 42 U.S.C.§ 1983 federal civil rights violations,and defamation.
Prior to graduating from law school, James externed for the S.F. Human Rights Commission and served as an individual and group Academic Support Program tutor.
James enjoys weightlifting, running, traveling internationally, and cooking.
James is licensed to practice law in the state of California.
