Jennifer Shippole is a Partner in the Florida offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. with nearly three decades of experience managing a diverse caseload including construction defect on behalf of architects and engineers, as well as general contractors and subcontractors, bodily injury, wrongful death, toxic torts, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, and first party property matters. At Resnick & Louis, P.C., Jennifer concentrates her practice in construction defect litigation. She is extremely driven to leverage the facts of each case and her experience to achieve strategic resolution of those cases in an expeditious and cost effective manner for the benefit of her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer built up and managed in-house legal departments for prominent insurance carriers where she gained valuable experience defending high exposure construction defect, premises liability, general liability, and first party property cases. She has managed cases from inception through trial. Jennifer has extensive experience taking depositions of expert witnesses, construction professionals, medical professionals, and fact witnesses, as well as handling mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University and Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. While at Villanova, Jennifer clerked for the Honorable Richard A. Powers in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as the Securities and Exchange Commission. She also served as the Editor of Outside Articles for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal and was a member of the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Team. She is licensed to practice in the state of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.
Jennifer is originally from New Jersey, but has called South Florida home for 28 years. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, crafting, and traveling.
