Jonathan Vega is an Associate at the Ontario office of Resnick & Louis, P.C., where his practice focuses on labor and employment law, as well as auto and premises liability defense.
Mr. Vega began his legal career as a legal assistant before advancing to the role of civil litigation paralegal. Over more than a decade, he developed significant experience representing plaintiffs in labor and employment matters. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Mr. Vega played a key role in discovery, mediation, case management, and trial preparation, collaborating closely with attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.
He has worked with several small firms on cases involving wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). In addition, Mr. Vega has handled matters involving third-party and first-party auto collisions, minor’s compromise petitions, and dog bite claims. His background on the plaintiff’s side has given him valuable insight into opposing counsel’s strategies and litigation approaches.
Mr. Vega earned his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service, where he concentrated on advanced discovery strategies and negotiation techniques.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Vega enjoys photography, spending time outdoors, and being with his family.
