Josie Deese is an Associate in the Houston office of Resnick & Louis, P.C., where her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense. She represents clients through all phases of litigation, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and case strategy.
Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Josie gained experience handling a broad range of litigation matters, including corporate defense, Defense Base Act claims, and personal injury litigation. She has managed complex caseloads, conducted depositions, negotiated favorable settlements, and represented employers and carriers before the U.S. Department of Labor. Her background also includes experience in entertainment and intellectual property law, where she assisted with contract drafting, trademark enforcement, and commercial agreements.
Josie earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Entertainment & Recording Industry Management from Texas Southern University. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.
