Justin M. Lopez is an associate attorney in the San Antonio office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. His experience includes insurance coverage and SIU investigation. He further has extensive civil litigation experience in defending personal injury claims involving automobile accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice. His practice includes the areas of medical malpractice, general liability, first-party property claims, automotive liability, and premises liability matters. Justin performs all aspects of coverage investigation claims, conducts examinations under oath, attends mediations, hearings and depositions, and negotiates settlement offers.
Justin was raised in Medina County in a small town called La Coste, Texas, which is near San Antonio, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with Plan I Honors from the University of Texas, in Austin, Texas, where he was recognized on the Dean’s Honors List. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas in 2013. While in law school, Justin was the Online Companion Editor for the Estate Planning and Community Law Journal, Vol. 4, which he managed the online journal, “The Codicil.” He was also a member of the Board of Barristers.
Prior to his current role as an Associate Attorney at Resnick & Louis, P.C., Justin was an attorney at a national firm in Dallas, Texas, where he represented physicians and long-term care facilities in medical malpractice claims, and corporate clients in premise liability, consumer defect, and DTPA lawsuits. His previous experience at a firm in Fort Worth, Texas further honed his skills in personal injury defense and insurance coverage investigations.
In his free time, Justin enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and daughter, and their two dogs and cat.
He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and the Northern District of Texas.
