Katherine (“Katie”) L. Stahl is a Partner in Resnick & Louis, P.C.’s Houston office, where she brings nearly two decades of experience representing businesses, insurers, and technology-driven clients in complex litigation and advisory matters. Her practice focuses on technology and intellectual property disputes, insurance defense, and commercial litigation, with a strategic, solutions-oriented approach tailored to each client’s business objectives.
Before joining Resnick & Louis, Katie served for several years as Senior Counsel at Mudd Law, where she handled high-level technology, privacy, and intellectual property matters for clients across a wide range of industries. Earlier in her career, she founded and led Sunstrom Law, advising businesses and entrepreneurs on strategic decision-making, intellectual property protection, and dispute resolution. She has also served as Of Counsel at Lorance & Thompson, further broadening her litigation and counseling experience.
In addition to her private practice, Katie is an active leader within the legal community. She currently serves as a Council Member for the Computer & Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas and is a co-editor of the section’s eJournal, Circuits. She is known for her practical insight, strong advocacy skills, and commitment to delivering efficient, high-value representation to her clients.
