Lauren White is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses her practice area on insurance defense litigation for a variety of lines of business including first party property, windshield litigation, SIU/MCIU and construction defect. Lauren has extensive experience with First Party Appraisal of claims. She has extensive experience and knowledge handling appraisal in both first party property and glass litigation. Coinciding this, Lauren handles the day-to-day of first party property and glass litigation teams in Florida. Lauren conducts careful analysis of policy provisions and endorsements, which aid in crafting the best possible defense strategy for Florida windshield glass and assignment of benefit litigation. Lauren has SIU experience in PIP, Personal Injury, and first party property. Further, she has taken PIP and first party property matters to trial and has litigated construction defect claims including contractor, sub-contractor, and also practices in the AAA in these matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren served as an in-house counsel to an insurance company which makes her keenly aware of the challenges faced by insurers. Lauren attended the University of Notre Dame where she graduated, cum laude, from the honors track with degrees in history and psychology. Prior to attending law school, she worked for a large law firm for several years. After receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, she clerked for the Honorable Chris McAliley in the United States District Court in the Southern District.
