Manuel is an experienced litigator with almost 30 years of experience in insurance defense. He
has successfully tried many cases involving construction defect, premises liability, auto liability,
trucking liability, professional negligence, and fraud. As a Partner as Resnick & Louis, Manuel
will provide aggressive representation, yet avoid unnecessary costs, by implementing effective
and efficient legal strategies to obtain the desired outcome. Manuel ensures his clients and
carriers are fully informed throughout the litigation process. Manuel’s philosophy has always
been that you treat clients like you would want your family to be treated.
A Central California native, Manuel graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a
Degree in Political Science in 1990. He went on to obtain his J.D. degree from San Joaquin
College of Law in 1995, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1996. Manuel has built
a reputation with the Plaintiff’s bar as a tenacious litigator who will passionately represent his
clients.
Manuel joined the statewide insurance defense firm of Erickson, Arbuthnot, Kilduff, Day and
Lindstrom in 1996 as an associate attorney. In 1997, Manuel joined the insurance defense firm
of Brown & Peel as an associate attorney. Manuel was elevated to partnership status at Brown &
Peel in May of 2005 and the firm was reorganized and renamed Peel | Garcia LLP. Manuel
worked as a Partner in the firm of Peel | Garcia LLP until June 2025. Manuel has extensive
experience representing and trying cases on behalf of individuals and businesses in litigation
involving premises liability, automobile liability, trucking liability, professional liability,
construction defect, and fraud.
