Maryam is an Associate with Resnick & Louis in the Orange County office. She has extensive experience in litigation, having taken over 150 depositions and defended cases in all stages of litigation, including trial.
Maryam’s primary practice includes litigation defense in general liability, catastrophic injuries, commercial litigation, warranty and habitability, and breach of contract. She also advises on Board of Director disputes and liability prevention.
Prior to R&L, Maryam lived and worked on Wall Street where she served as legal advisory on capital remediation and Federal Regulation across dozens of workstreams at a bulge bracket bank in New York City. She served as a liaison between management, Board of Directors, and the Federal Reserve.
After law school, Maryam also served as a Judicial Clerk for Presiding Judge Sutker-Dermer of Cook County in Chicago. She has earned the SuperLawyers prestigious Rising Star award for 5 years in a row and has been voted 5/5 stars on Avvo by her clients.
Prior to practicing law, Maryam worked for sports agent, Leigh Steinberg, and was also a Congressional Intern on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.
