Matthew Wendt is a Partner in the Irvine and Sacramento offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and has extensive litigation experience in insurance defense, construction defect litigation, bodily injury, auto/commercial auto, premises liability, and product liability. Matthew also has significant experience in defending employment law matters as well as real estate litigation. Over the course of his practice, Matthew has defended clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses.
Matthew obtained his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. Matthew earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, he served as an extern for Judge Katherine Lucero of the Santa Clara County Superior Court.
Outside of the courtroom, Matthew volunteers in his community, serving on the board of directors for the Morgan Hill Community Foundation. He is a member of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, which serves the poor and the sick worldwide including throughout Northern California.
Matthew is licensed to practice law in the state of California.
