Michael D. Rohfeld is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. representing transportation clients in all aspects of employment law disputes, defending discrimination claims as well as wage and salary disputes. He also represents employers in their workers’ compensation cases. Michael has advised clients in the event of hazardous material spills or releases, claims of water and soil contamination, clean-up obligations, and various environmental compliance matters. Mike is an experienced civil defense attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience. Of that time, he has spent over 25 years working as in-house counsel for two nationally known insurance companies. His experience includes both personal and commercial lines cases encompassing personal injury, transportation litigation, professional liability, environmental, and construction defect matters. He also has knowledge in products liability general liability and third party liability.
Mike is an excellent negotiator and has hands-on experience in all phases of litigation from pre-filing claims analysis to each step of the litigation process. Mike has worked with and maintains relationships with many of the major case mediators and retired judges in the state and has an excellent record of efficiently resolving his cases and obtaining beneficial results for his clients.
