Michael Dodson is a seasoned trial attorney with more than 40 years of litigation experience representing businesses, insureds, and insurance carriers in complex civil matters. His practice has focused primarily on insurance defense and the defense of personal injury, premises liability, automobile, and other general liability claims.
Over the course of his career, Michael has tried more than 50 jury cases to verdict, earning a reputation as a skilled courtroom advocate and strategic advisor. His extensive trial experience, coupled with decades of successfully resolving disputes through mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements, enables him to develop practical, cost-effective litigation strategies while remaining fully prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
Michael is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy and in Civil Pretrial Practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In addition, since 2017 he has been a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
