Michael “Mike” Frazelle is a highly accomplished trial attorney with decades of experience representing insurers, corporations, governmental entities, and individuals in complex civil litigation. His practice spans commercial litigation, bad faith, construction defect matters, governmental liability, insurance coverage disputes, personal injury and wrongful death, professional liability, and real estate litigation.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Mike has tried approximately 80 cases to verdict, concluded roughly 200 arbitrations, and handled about 50 appeals. His appellate work includes involvement in numerous published opinions that have shaped Arizona law, including decisions addressing the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and significant insurance coverage issues.
Mike’s representative matters include major defense and prosecution victories in state and federal courts, high-stakes coverage disputes, shareholder derivative actions, commercial contract litigation, and complex tort cases. He has secured defense verdicts across a broad spectrum of claims—from construction defects and malpractice allegations to catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and constitutional claims involving law enforcement and public entities.
A respected leader in the legal community, Mike is a longtime member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a State Bar of Arizona Certified Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Law since 1993. He has earned recognition as a Super Lawyer and holds the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV rating.
Mike is admitted to practice in Arizona, California, multiple federal courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where he served on Law Review and Moot Court, and received American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts and Income Taxation. He holds a B.A. in Government and Political Science from the University of Arizona.
