Michelle Somerville is a civil litigation attorney with over 30 years of experience defending insurers and insureds.
Her practice includes complex litigation, multi-million-dollar construction defect and fraud litigation, professional liability, bad faith, general liability, administrative and tax adjudicate matters and, serving U.S Veterans in disability appeals.
Ms. Somerville began her legal career working for the Office of the District Attorney in San Diego County and Fresno County, where she developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy. She later practiced for many years with numerous insurance defense firms, representing national and regional carriers in high-exposure matters.
Ms. Somerville also previously operated her own firm as the named partner, where she handled complex litigation involving real estate matters and government liability, and managed all phases of client service and development to resolution.
She is admitted to practice multi-jurisdictional law in Utah, California, and Wisconsin and earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School.
