For over 30 years, Roger has tried complex injury and commercial cases in state and federal courts nationwide including Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma and Maryland. He has extensive experience in construction defect, professional liability, transportation defense, environmental, personal injury, insurance, product defect, real estate, death and class action & mass action tort cases.

Roger has handled complex personal injury claims with relation to trademark and copyright claims. Roger has both litigation and counseling on a wide variety of media law and First Amendment issues, including libel, slander, online defamation, defamation removal, social media harassment, privacy, news gathering, challenges to governmental and private regulations of speech, commercial speech, advertising, copyright, and Internet and e-commerce. Roger has successfully defended both insureds and insurance companies in advertising claims involving copyright and trademark. Roger understands real estate law and the intricacies of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Roger has represented the title insurance industry and insured purchasers and lenders in all aspects of title insurance coverage and related title claims litigation.

Roger appreciates the effect claims, accidents, and litigation may have on his clients’ businesses. Roger has over 30 years of experience investigating and evaluating trucking litigation cases, from traffic violations to claims of personal injury. He understands the importance of performing a thorough investigation and providing his clients with a strategy for representation as quickly as possible while keeping them informed throughout each stage of their defense. Roger offers aggressive and experienced representation for a wide variety of matters concerning trucking companies, car rental companies, railroads, commercial lines, livery services, and other transportation organizations.

Roger has extensive experience in all aspects of technology and cyber cases, including breach of contract, defamation over the internet and other media, insurance policy interpretation/bad faith, copyright/trademark, plagiarism, liabilities to third parties from conversion of corporate assets (including data), loss of business income, data recovery, computer analysis of business systems, computer system malfunctions, employee theft/employment contracts, and dealing with governmental agencies.

Roger also has worked professionally in public service as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona where he was a criminal prosecutor of civil and criminal cases against some of the state’s largest corporations. In addition, Roger is at the forefront in the adaptation and use of computer technology for the trial of complex litigation and the application of cutting-edge science to win cases before juries. The first case in Arizona in which any court officially recognized the use of brain scanning and fMRI as evidence was brought by him. He has been a speaker at the U.S. Judicial Conference for the Second Circuit on the use of neuro-technology and the law where he followed Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg on the panel.

Roger has successfully defended public agencies and private companies from environmental and other tort claims. Today he focuses his practice on the application of technology to litigation to maximize results and reduce costs for his clients.
