Scott B. Van Alfen is an accomplished attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience, specializing in professional liability, commercial liability, insurance claims, medical malpractice, product defect, and pharmaceutical litigation. He has served as lead counsel in more than 20 jury trials and over 650 arbitrations. Scott currently practices healthcare litigation at Stephenson Acquisto & Colman and has previously represented major insurance companies, including Zurich, Infinity, and American Access.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law and holds a B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
Scott is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
