Sherri-Ann Grant-Clarke is a Partner in the Miami office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. She has extensive litigation experience in construction defect litigation, bodily injury defense, premises liability, automobile liability, negligent security, telecommunications construction, and first party property. Sherri-Ann’s experience includes the analysis and litigation of massive multiparty litigation cases concerning complex liability issues. Her practice, however, will focus primarily on construction defect litigation both in Florida state courts and Arbitration tribunals.

Prior to joining the firm, Sherri-Ann gained extensive experience at boutique law firms in Florida specializing in the defense of construction defect litigation on behalf of developers, general contractors, and subcontractors including stucco installers, roofers, painters, framers, and window installers. As such, she has developed the legal proficiency necessary to evaluate and defend these claims.

While in law school, she was a member of the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court, Black Law Students Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, Semi-Finalist of the Southern Regional Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, and a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Don S. Cohn of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade.

As a result of her own lived experiences, Sherri-Ann is a mental health advocate who enjoys reading inspirational and self-help books. She passionately promotes mental, emotional, and physical well-being and serves on the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Mental Health and Wellness. She also previously served on the Board of a mental health nonprofit, Healing Arts Institute of South Florida International, but stepped down to focus on completing her M.B.A. In her remaining spare time, Sherri-Ann is a certified “Life Coach” but mainly serves as a listening ear to her loved ones during life’s challenging moments.

Sherri-Ann also values diversity and the richness our individual experiences contribute to the collective societal experience. She previously served on the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion from 2021 through 2024. As a result, she enjoys international travel (including returning to her home country of Jamaica annually), which she believes allows us to appreciate the vastness of the world while gaining compassion towards our basic human similarities.

Sherri-Ann is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
