Sophia Varma Van Langen is Of Counsel in the Phoenix office of Resnick and Louis, P.C. She is a seasoned litigator with 20 years of experience handling complex civil and commercial litigation. Throughout her career, Sophia has represented businesses, professionals, and public entities in a wide range of contested matters, including insurance defense, escrow and title insurance matters, contract and business disputes, professional liability, regulatory enforcement, licensing discipline, and administrative proceedings. Her litigation experience spans all phases of case development and resolution. Sophia’s practice has focused on guiding clients through high-stakes matters with a strategic, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach. Sophia was a Staff Writer and Executive Note Editor for the Arizona Law Review at the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson, Arizona. She was also awarded the James E. Rogers College of Law Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy.
In her free time, Sophia enjoys spending time with her family, as well as supporting the professional arts (particularly, musical theater), attending movies, volunteering at her children’s schools, cooking/baking, practicing yoga, and hiking.
