Vanessa Kamau, Esq. is a Senior Associate in the San Diego and Irvine offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. She has over nine years of experience as a litigator, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Her primary practice areas have been Employment Litigation, Business/Commercial Litigation, and Insurance Defense. Her Insurance Defense experience includes medical and dental malpractice, product liability, and bodily injury defense (auto and premises liability).
Further, Vanessa is experienced in mediations and MSCs, and uses her effective negotiating skills to obtain favorable settlements for her clients. Similarly, Vanessa prides herself on her ability to garner undisclosed evidence to seamlessly facilitate positive results. In addition to trying multiple cases as first chair, Vanessa has also represented clients at administrative hearings and arbitration proceedings.
Vanessa earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where she received two prestigious, merit-based scholarships and spent two summers as a summer associate at one of Denver’s largest firms.
