Wayne Dawson is a seasoned litigation attorney who began his legal career in-house at NationsBank (now Bank of America) and Bank One, NA (now J.P. Morgan Chase) as a Trust Attorney. He later served as an Assistant Solicitor and Municipal Court Prosecutor for the City Court of Atlanta and held a similar role in Fort Worth, Texas, starting in 2005. Wayne also managed a private practice focused on labor and employment law and personal injury claims, while concurrently serving as Special Board Counsel for various Independent School Districts across Texas. In 2011 Wayne worked with a prominent employment litigation firm onsite in Macau, China SAR.
In 2018, Wayne returned to public service as an Assistant Municipal Court Prosecutor for the City of Pearland. Most recently, he served as an EEOC Compliance Analyst for the State of Louisiana, where he participated in regional and national EEO conferences. Throughout his career, Wayne has handled numerous bench and jury trials in state courts as both a prosecutor and private counsel.
Wayne earned his B.A. in Political Science with Honors from Tulane University and his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans. He resides in the Greater Houston area and enjoys traveling, exercise, and spending time with his family and five sons.
