William C. Kennedy is an associate in the Charleston office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. where he handles a variety of insurance defense, construction, and civil litigation matters. He has several years of experience litigating a range of matters related to construction, family law, property law, construction, workers compensation, bad faith, and insurance law. William represents clients in high value and complex matters throughout the entire litigation lifecycle, including drafting motions, responding to discovery requests, attending hearings, conducting depositions, engaging in mediation and settlement negotiations, and appearing in trial.
Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, William worked as an associate at boutique law firms around Charleston. He earned his law degree from Charleston School of Law, where he earned CALI Awards for top performance in Legal Research, Analysis & Writing I and II and was active with the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society and the Charleston Law Review. William completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University.
William is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court, Fourth Circuit.
