Resnick & Louis, P.C. was established by Mitchell J. Resnick, Lena M. Louis, and Jennifer Boldi, three distinguished attorneys with strong reputations in both the legal and business communities. Mitchell J. Resnick

President and Co-founder

Mitch is a solution-oriented attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience and an influential member of the insurance defense community throughout the Southwest and West Coast. He focuses his practice on insurance defense litigation, coverage, and first-party property damage. Mitch has been designated as panel counsel for over 100 insurance companies, TPAs, self-insured, and captive entities for multiple businesses. He has also served as lead counsel in multi-million dollar cases in different jurisdictions and has been responsible for thousands of cases throughout the last ten years. Mitch is named one of the finest attorneys in Arizona and Nevada and has been a featured speaker at multiple seminars around the country regarding construction-related litigation.

Lena, the co-founder of Resnick & Louis, P.C., has been working in the fields of construction defect, commercial litigation, construction law, employment law, and general liability matters for 20 years. She focuses her practice on the representation of commercial property owners, businesses, developers, general contractors, and trade contractors. Lena also provides business services and represents clients in contract-related transactional matters. Lena is an experienced attorney and prides herself on providing personal and individual attention to each of her clients to achieve the best results possible. She also offers risk management services to her clients and has helped many of them avoid significant claims. Furthermore, Lena is an accomplished and well-respected civil litigation attorney, having handled hundreds of cases in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

Jennifer A. Boldi

Jennifer Boldi focuses her practice on insurance defense, professional liability, construction defect litigation, transportation litigation, bodily injury defense, automobile liability, estate planning, and general civil litigation, representing clients in Arizona and California. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Jennifer was a civil litigation associate at a preeminent mid-sized Southwest law firm and was General Counsel to a 300-employee staffing corporation. Before graduating from law school, Jennifer clerked for law firms specializing in construction defect litigation and estate planning. While in law school, Jennifer was the Literary Citation Editor of the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary and founded Pepperdine’s first animal law society. She holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s top-ranked Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and focuses on the resolution of civil cases through mediation and arbitration. Prior to her legal career, Jennifer worked in television production, employed at stations in Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Emily K. Dotson is a Shareholder in the Phoenix office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. Her practice is primarily focused on multi-party complex civil litigation in the areas of insurance law, professional liability, first party property and liability insurance coverage, bad faith defense, automobile liability, surety, bodily injury defense, design professionals, A&E, construction law, construction defect, SIU insurance fraud defense, and general civil litigation. Emily has experience with environmental coverage, water restoration/fire restoration litigation, and construction defect for large manufacturing plants. Additionally, Emily has experience in Federal Certified Class Actions, owner/operator payment disputes and FMCSR violations.

Emily handles most aspects of law related to transportation and trucking, including representing companies in personal injury and wrongful death cases, as well as assisting trucking companies, motor vehicle companies, motor vehicle dealerships and farm implement dealerships in a variety of areas including corporate, commercial, and tort matters.

She also advises insurance companies related to a variety of insurance coverage matters as well as first-party property defense, and SIU cases. Additionally, Emily also represents corporate clients in business transactions such as insurance procurement and corporate law.

Brian C. Axt

Brian C. Axt is a Shareholder in the Phoenix office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses his practice on product liability, professional liability, design professionals, public entity, construction defect, transportation defense, A&E, premise liability, bodily injury defense, hospitality & retail defense, automobile liability, complex transactional claims, risk transfer, general liability, employment law, SIU, and general civil litigation. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, he practiced in the State of New York where he handled complex construction accident, personal injury, products liability cases, and defense of warranty claims. Brian has obtained the dismissal of several cases on pre-trial motions in both State and Federal Court and has also achieved excellent results while representing his clients at arbitration, mediation and trial. Brian was named a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017, 2018 and 2019, was named one of America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys in 2019 and one of America’s Top 100 Civil Defense Litigators in 2020 and 2021. Further, Brian has served as counsel and provided representation related to environmental matters, including environmental due diligence, asset analysis, and risk evaluation. His experience additionally extends to general liability and commercial litigation matters.

While in law school, Brian was on the Dean’s List for three semesters, was a member of the school’s National Trial Team, and was also an Associate Editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology. Upon graduation, Brian was inducted into Albany Law School’s Justinian Society for students who graduate with honors.

Brian is licensed to practice law in the states of Arizona and New York as well as U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York and Southern District of New York.

Representative Cases:

Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of corporate client at the trial of a property damage matter that involved allegations of negligently disposing of a motor vehicle at a recycling facility.

Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a homeowners association following a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge that involved allegations that the HOA Board was not properly enforcing the HOA’s covenants, conditions and restrictions.

Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of corporate client at the arbitration of a bodily injury matter that involved allegations of negligence in causing a motor vehicle accident.

Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a corporate client at the arbitration of a bodily injury matter that involved allegations that a wheelchair ramp at a bowling alley had been negligently constructed.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a subcontractor on its indemnity cross-claims against a product manufacturer in a product liability matter, including the reimbursement of $55,000 in attorneys’ fees.

Obtained summary judgment and the dismissal of a third-party complaint in a bodily injury matter that involved allegations against a corporate client that it was negligent in its renovation of a spa at an elderly community.

Obtained summary judgment, costs and the dismissal of all claims on behalf of the manufacturer of an oil lubrication system in a products liability matter that involved a fire occurring in a harvester that resulted in the total loss of the harvester.

Obtained summary judgment and the dismissal of a breach of contract matter that was based upon the failure to pay a termination fee pursuant to a commercial lease.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a general contractor on its contractual indemnification claim against its hired subcontractor in a bodily injury matter, including the reimbursement of $90,000 in attorneys’ fees.

Obtained the dismissal of plaintiff’s negligence claim in a bodily injury matter based on it being barred by Workers’ Compensation law.

Obtained the dismissal of a bar complaint before the State Bar of Arizona on behalf of a client that involved allegations of attorney malpractice.

Randall Tindall is a shareholder and the Las Vegas office’s managing partner and has been practicing in Las Vegas for 25 years. His extensive trial and litigation experience consists mainly of high-exposure cases involving severe injury and death. He has achieved favorable verdicts and results for casinos, nightclubs, hotels, group-homes, product manufacturers and distributors, pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, and insured drivers. He also has a business trial and litigation background, successfully representing clients in contract, professional lines, product liability, and securities fraud cases. He uses his knowledge and experience to mentor junior attorneys and ensure quality work product and representation throughout the firm. Randall additionally has SIU experience, with 27 years of handling such Nevada cases for various carriers. Randall also has experience in SIU Insurance Fraud Defense work, third party liability, medical liability, and automobile liability.

Randall is licensed in Nevada and Kansas.
